the Mughals, the British and now the Indians. We will also cover Agra and
its surrounding area, which contains many superb monuments built by the Mughal
emperors. Then move on to Jaipur, built by the Rajput warriors after the decline
of the Mughal Empire. It contains many palaces and interesting structures.

Day 01 - PARO – THIMPHU
Arrive Paro & transfer to Thimphu. O/N Hotel Motithang or similar.
Day 02 – At THIMPU
View of Thimphu valley from BBS Tower, Mini Zoo, Anim Dratshang (nunnery),
Paper factory, Memorial Chorten and Zangthopelri Lhakhang.
National Library and School of Arts and Crafts(former Painting School-2-4
p.m), Handicrafts Emporium & Trashichodzong.
O/N Hotel Motithang or similar.
Day 3 - THIMPHU – TRONGSA
Transfer to Trongsa via Wangdue and Pelela pass (3,300m). Sightseeing Trongsa
Dzong and Ta Dzong. O/N Sherubling Tourist Lodge or similar.
Day 4 - TRONGSA-BUMTHANG
Early morning transfer to Bumthang. Visit Jampa Lhakhang, Kurjey Lhakhang.
Afternoon, visit to Jakar Dzong, Swiss farm house.
O/N Wangdichholing Lodge or similar.
Day 5 - BUMTHANG-PUNAKHA
Depart for Punakha via Wangdue on the way. O/N Hotel Zangthopelri or similar.

6 - PUNAKHA – PARO
Sightseeing at Punakha Dzong. Transfer to Paro. Stroll in Paro Town.

Day 7 - AT PARO
Visit the Drukgyel Dzong. On the way, view peak of Mt. Jhomolhari (7,314m),
covered with snow throughout the year. Later visit Kyichu Lhakhang.
Visit National museum. If time permits visit/hike to Taktshang monastery.

Day 8 – DEPART PARO
Transfer to the airport to board flight for onward destination.
