Sikkim & Darjeeling Tour

Duration: 06 Nights / 07 Days

Day 1. Arrive Bagdogra or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station.
Meeting on arrival and transfer to Darjeeling. Arrive and transfer to the hotel. Overnight.

Day 2. Darjeeling
Early morning, depart for an excursion to Tiger Hill where the morning sun displays a panorama of colours. In the distance are the Himalayan peaks and the famous Kanchenjunga. Return to Darjeeling via Ghoom Monastery. Breakfast. Later half-day city tour of Darjeeling visiting Tibetan Refugees, Self help centre, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and Himalayan Zoo. After lunch visit the Japanese Peace Pagoda, Council House, Ava Art Gallery,Dhirdham Temple and National History Museum. Overnight.

Day 3. Darjeeling
Breakfast. Full day free to explore Darjeeling on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4. Darjeeling / Gangtok
Morning after breakfast at the hotel leave by road for Gangtok. Arrive and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight.

Day 5. Gangtok - Changu Lake
Morning after breakfast depart on an excursion to Changu Lake near the Indo China border (subject to advance permission). Return to the hotel. After lunch city tour of Gangtok visiting cottage industry, Enchey Monastery and the local bazaar. Overnight.

Day 6. Gangtok - Kalimpong
Breakfast. Leave for fascinating Kalimpong via Rumtek Monastery, situated at a height of 4100 feet. Arrive and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon leave on a half day city tour of Kalimpong. Return to the hotel in the evening. Overnight.

Day 7. Kalimpong - Bagdogra
Morning after breakfast the hotel proceed to Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station to board flight / train for onward journey.
